Purrrr-fect Powder

Kirkup Cat

The Mt. Kirkup Cat Skiing offers a thrilling, in-bounds snowcat experience that feels like your own private powder playground. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (weather permitting, mid-January through March), a Pisten Bully snowcat carries up to 13 skiers or snowboarders from Grey Mountain’s summit to the top of adjacent Mount Kirkup. From there, you drop in on roughly 2,054 feet (626 m) of vertical terrain, winding through open runs, gladed trees, and rolling advanced terrain back to the Grey Chair or even down to the Topping Creek Chair. No guide or avalanche gear is required — this is pay-per-run cat skiing, first-come, first-served (no reservations), and a single ride is just $20. It’s the perfect way to taste deep snow without committing to a full backcountry trip.

Sleep on the Slopes

Constella Cabins

Imagine crashing mid-mountain in your own cozy cabin, surrounded by snow‑dusted trees and a sky full of stars. This on‑mountain collective features six ski-in/ski-out cabins tucked into RED’s Paradise Basin, plus a warm communal clubhouse where you can unwind by the fire, enjoy an Après drink from your private porch, and dig into dinner. Each cabin is rustic-chic and eco-friendly, with bunk beds, a washroom, Wi-Fi, and enough comfort to feel like your own alpine hideout. In the morning, you literally walk out your door onto the slopes and catch first tracks via the Paradise Chairlift.
