shmani is an electronic producer, DJ, and vocalist who experiments with the borders between dubstep, trap, and hyperpop. Like her running mascara, her music is bold and emotional, paired with energetic sound design that hits with full intensity. With releases on SubCarbon Records, FMU Records, and music video drops like ‘GOD UR SUCH A and I’ll Be Good, Shmani is just breaking the surface of what emo electronic music can offer, and she has plenty more to cry about. Performing her vocals live with raw, unapologetic passion, Shmani has risen from underground basements to festival stages, carving her own lane in bass music with support from respected peers, labels and a rapidly growing online fanbase. Her forthcoming EP, arriving in fall 2025, sharpens her vision of emo electronic; louder, darker, and more unrelenting than before.
