The future of freeride in North America is coming back to RED for the Canadian Open Freeride Championships!
Prepare to be amazed by these young shredders as you take a ride up Motherlode Chair — one of the best spectator events at RED.
Competition Schedule:
Friday, Jan 30 – Junior Qualifier | Ages 12–14
Saturday, Jan 31 – Junior Qualifier | Ages 15–18
Sunday, Feb 1 – Junior Finals
Competition starts at 9:30 AM daily.
Registration is now closed, but come cheer the kids on!
Watching the event is free, and all you need is a valid RED Mountain lift pass.
Where to Watch:
Ride the Silverlode Chairlift to the top, turn left, and follow the cat track down to Motherlode. Upload Motherlode and you’ll be right above the action—best seat in the house!
