Blizzard Music Fest is Rossland’s annual winter music celebration that transforms this mountain town into a vibrant live-music hub each January as part of the Rossland Winter Carnival. What started as a modest local event has grown into a three-day festival showcasing an eclectic mix of genres—from rock and folk to hip-hop, blues, and electronica—across multiple intimate venues and outdoor stages scattered through downtown Rossland.
With performances in iconic spots like the Olaus Ice Palace (an outdoor venue built of snow), the historic Miners’ Hall, & The Flying Steamshovel, Blizzard draws both local talent and touring artists, creating a spirited soundtrack to the winter season.
