Rossland Winter Carnival, since 1898!
Olaus Jeldness would be amazed. He was the Norwegian miner who, way back in 1898, initiated Canada’s Oldest Winter Carnival.
Community and family-oriented activities will decorate this historical weekend, with lots of reasons and ways to celebrate!
Ice sculptures, snow slides, local business specials, and more! Olaus would be astounded to see boarders and skiers flying through the air during Saturday’s fantastic “The Game” Rail Jam competition in downtown Rossland and don’t forget about the historic Bobsled race down one of the steepest slopes in town! You won’t want to miss this action packed weekend!
