Rossland Council for Arts & Culture (RCAC) offers a diverse program of arts activities to the community. RCAC also participates in many of the local community events including Spring Wing Ding, Winter Carnival and Rossfest. Visit our website for dates and location.


Performing arts series – The Miners Hall is an acoustical treat for the wide range of professional musicians RCAC brings to town.  These include Jim Byrnes, Todd Butler, The Wailin Jennys, Harry Manx, David Francey, Matt Andersen.  Local musicians have had a wonderful opportunity to participate in guitar, penny whistle, drum and violin workshops lead by The McDades, Todd Butler, Doug Cox, the Montreal Guitar Trio and others.


Rouge Gallery - Features the art of local painters, weavers, felters, potters, photographers, and sculptors. Rossland is home to over 50 visual artists! The gallery is open 7 days a week.


Joe Hill Coffee House – Come and root for your favourite local talent every third Sunday of the month at 7pm. Contact Michael Gifford at 250-362-7170 or e-mail giffmus@telus.net.


FLIKS - Friday night is movie night at the Miners Hall with films offered in conjunction with Film Lover In the Kootenays (www.fliks.ca).


U-19 Film Fest – RCAC is committed to supporting films by local youth in conjunction with the Rossland Mountain Film Fest ( www.rosslandfilmfest.com).
