Drift Izakaya is the West Kootenays’ first exposure to Japanese Izakaya style dining. An izakaya is a Japanese pub-style drinking establishment that serves food which accompanies a variety of beverages.  Izakaya’s are best known as casual, inviting, inexpensive establishments that serve a variety of small plates ranging from robata, shashimi, tartars, carpaccios and salads to noodles, fried chicken, Chinese, Korean and other world cuisine.
The Drift also carries a large selection of sake, beer, shochu (Japanese/ Korean vodka) and wine.  Hours of operation will be 5pm until close (restaurant will be closed Christmas Day).  The Drift will also be hosting a variety of local bands and DJs so visit the town’s newest Japanese pub for great food, drinks and tunes!

Our pub is one of the oldest in Rossland and may very well be the last 'saloon' remaining from the gold rush days. This provides an atmosphere that you just can't find anywhere else in Canada. Combine that with a fun group of locals and staff, you are sure to have a good time while enjoying your frosty beverage. After a recent refurbisment, The Goldtown Dining Room offers fine dining with kids and seniors menu available.  Souvlaki, Cornish Hen, and Beef Tenderloin are some of the items available on the menu.

Gypsy at Red - serving up a unique blend of creative, gourmet dishes, combining flavors from around the world. Fresh ingredients, exotic spices, exquisite desserts. Fine dining in a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Take-out, catering and private functions available. Fully licensed, 60 seat restaurant with outdoor dining in the summer.

A menu that features lots of fresh seafood, curries, lamb, steaks and pasta.  Daily specials and delicious focaccia bread baked in house.  Reservations recommended and appreciated.  Open for dinner from 5-9:30 daily.
