Rossland is becoming an even better year round destination with the development of RedStone
golf course into an 18 hole Les Furber design. The new mountain golf course is predicted
to rank within "the top 10 resort courses in Canada".

The continued development of spectacular on mountain accommodation at Red Mountain Resort
will increase nightly accommodation and the construction has been completed on the new
Doppelmayr CTEC Quad Charlift that will be ready for this winter, December 2007. The
quad chairlift has replaced the current Silverlode chair and will provide access to
over 100 acres of new beginner terrain.

We have several new locally owned and operated businesses opening which provide both
products and services from pet stores to home decor, we have a wide range of retail
boutiques. We also have two new spas for your complete wellness, and relaxation.
Rossland is a community which is concerned about sustainability and environmental
changes and has committed this vision to our Official Community Plan.
Our annual events draw people from around the world and from right next door, and
include the Rossland Mountain Film Festival, Rossfest and the Winter Carnival to name a few.

In addition we have a very active arts sector with fantastic concerts, live theatre, many different artists with displays around the community as well as a museum and gold mine tour.
